4. Basic research of materials informatics

Nano-characterization techniques using quantum beams

We aim to understand physical phenomena in novel nanomaterials and nanodevices by using nano-characterization techniques using quantum beams such as X-ray and neutron beams.

Measurement and analysis techniques with AI / machine learning

We aim to propose a new measurement and analysis technique with AI/machine learning, and reveal buried information of materials.

Autonomous laboratory

We aim to realize a next-generation research laboratory in which humans and AI / robots cooperate, using machine learning and statistical analysis.
